Designer reading glasses,that fold compactly – we not only wanted to achieve this goal, we endeavoured to surpass it! After much tinkering, the Platypus glasses have arrived: they fold up to the size of a credit card are just 8 mm thick. From the original concept to the design and production process, all steps take place at our factory in Ticino. In this way, we can guarantee that every single pair of glasses is perfect and durable down to the minutest detail.
A wealth of ideas in every detail
The many small but fine details ensure that you can fold the glasses very delicately. The precise mechanism on the nose bridge, for example, or the telescopic temples with flip temples. The finely ground lenses are also the result of procession work, so that they fit precisely inside the reading glasses case. The elegant case is milled from a single piece of aluminium.
